The neighbourhood

The Grands Boulevards district is bounded on one side by the Place de l'Opéra and on the other by the Place de la République. It's a hot spot for Parisian nightlife and entertainment, with its bars, brasseries, numerous theatres (Opéra Comique, Folies Bergère, Grand Rex, etc.) and clubs where you can sway the night away. It's also home to the "afterworks" where local employees come to relax after work. As you stroll along, you'll come across some beautiful, typically Haussmann buildings, and you'll be tempted to visit the Musée Grévin to meet your favourite stars!

- The Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Gardens, around twenty minutes away by metro
- Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, around twenty minutes away by metro
- 30 minutes by metro to the Eiffel Tower
