The neighbourhood

The Louvre district, known as the 1st arrondissement, is the cradle of Parisian history. Just steps from your doorstep stands the majestic Louvre Museum, home to artistic treasures from around the world, including the famous Mona Lisa. Stroll through the Louvre's square courtyard, admire the iconic glass pyramid, and immerse yourself in centuries of art history.

Right next door, the Tuileries Gardens offer a haven of peace amid the hustle and bustle of the city. These French gardens, designed in the 17th century, are perfect for a romantic stroll. You can relax by the fountains, enjoy a fresh baguette, or simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

Guest access

You will have the entire accommodation at your disposal.

You can arrive at the accommodation from 3 p.m. onwards – there is no time limit, as check-in is self-service using access codes that I will provide you with a few days in advance. However, you can drop off your luggage from 12 noon and come back later, once the cleaning has been done.

Departure is at 11 a.m., and it will not be possible to leave later or leave your luggage in the apartment after this time. I generally recommend using the secure lockers located throughout Paris, where you can store your belongings for a few hours.

Other things to note

⚠️ In order to be completely transparent with travellers, please note that there is currently some construction work going on in the common areas of the building and courtyard, which may cause some disturbance at times. If you are an early riser or plan to be out most of the time, this should not be a problem :)

⚠️ As the apartment is in an old building, the parquet flooring may creak. This is normal and part of the charm of old Parisian apartments.

In terms of basic amenities, such as shower gel, shampoo, coffee and toilet paper, please note that only small quantities will be provided. This may be sufficient for short stays.
